Whether he is performing at Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Café or during the NATO headquarters Christmas party in Brussels, Aaron Jaxon is one part guitar master and one part lyrical storyteller. The East Texas native, now living in Johnson City, Tennessee packs a blend of rock and roll, blues, country and Americana ... creating Aaron’s unique sound referred to as “roots rock.”
Aaron’s lyrics are reminiscent of the likes of Bob Dylan and Tom Waits, focused on telling stories of spirituality and survival through tough situations. With new music in the works for 2020, Aaron has already released two EPs to date; his debut EP, entitled The Aaron Jaxon Band, dropped in 2013 and the follow-up EP, Light on the Inside, was released in 2015. The Aaron Jaxon Band and Light on the Inside were recorded at The Sound Asylum Recording Studio and were co-produced by Aaron and Troy Whitson. Both EPs are available via popular services such as iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and can be purchased through Jaxon’s official website.
When he isn’t working on new music, Aaron volunteers some of his free time to helping recovering alcoholics taking part in twelve-step programs. Aaron loves to travel, having visited locations like New York City, Tokyo, Glasgow and Paris. He is also an avid viewer of television shows like Game of Thrones, Narcos and Goliath.
